Dawn and I are going to meet the window and door guy this morning at his office. We met him onsite Wednesday morning, but he didn't stay too long as he needed to get to another site. This morning we are supposed to be finalizing doors, and to take a look at the windows to make sure the double-hung ones are the ones we want. The estimate for the windows was a bit lower than the original estimate for the casements, so that's definitely good.
The front door we have had picked out for a while, and surprisingly, we both agreed on it as a first choice. For something that makes the statement like a front door, that's impressive.
The back doors for the deck and basement we may be springing for the doors with the blinds enclosed inside the glass. just something kinda cool about them, and not hearing the blinds hit the back of the door is a bonus.
