Another draw ready

Yesterday the bank came out and did another inspection for the third draw on our loan. This puts is at roughly 67%, give or take, of the total loan amount.

In less than 24-hours the check is ready. The bank wants us to have their money!

Dawn went and picked it up from the bank, and Rusty is stopping by her work to pick it up.

Also, Friday is just around the corner, which means most of the appliances are going to be delivered. The garage door was put up earlier this week, though I haven't seen it yet. We are planning on sticking the appliances in the garage until they are installed. That said, I have to run by the store in the morning on the way home and get some door knobs/locks, but I am just getting the "external" ones for now.

Also, Dawn decided she wanted a mantle over the gas stove. But, it has to be a lumber/wooden one and it has to look rustic. I thought it would have been cool to take a tree we cut from out land and figure out where to plane it down, but Rusty had a good point in that it would be green wood and would just not work. However, I found a place in Durham called the Reuse Warehouse that has reclaimed wood from architectural salvaging. We are planning on going by Saturday to see what they have.

Also on Saturday we are finishing off the appliance shopping. That means the crazy microwave, washer and dryer. It will be July 4th weekend, so there should be some good sales. We may also be getting some big tvs as well...

For Sunday, we may be doing some painting in the basement. At a minimum we want to get the closets out of the way since equipment has to go in soon.
