So we are supposed to be out on the building site at noon today. We are supposed to be getting the basement poured. Dawn wants our handprints in the concrete. So that's less than 4-hours from now, and I haven't heard that it is NOT happening, so is it finally happening?
I'm not 100% sure where stand on the foundation thing that was holding up the loan dispersal earlier this week. Dawn called the bank and told us we needed some sort of building insurance, and to talk to the builder. The builder said "Uhh, no, don't think that's me" since he had his own. I think he suggested talking to our insurance company, so Dawn talked to her cousin who used to work at State Farm. She confirmed that this was something we have to provide, and it eventually turns into our homeowner's insurance once we are in the house.
I'm quite curious why the bank didn't know, and why it JUST came up. I am also curious if this was holding up the bank draw in addition to the foundation report.
