Though I had already seen it, Dawn wanted to take the kids out and show them the house. We also needed to talk about the layout change for the living room. Dawn finally changed her mind and said we could keep the hallway entrance as long as she could put a chair near the corner for the stairs going to the 2nd floor, and to buy a sectional.
So short story, the layout is staying the same.
The kids got a kick out of going up the stairs to the eventual attic area. Then their attention was redirected to playing in the crawl space, then once again to the dirt.
