This evening we headed out to the appliance store that was suggested by the cabinet builders last week.
At the front of the store they had the Sub-Zero, Viking, and Miele goodies ("the things you see in Architectural Digest", as I told Dawn), so they had a ton of high-end stuff. Toward the back, they had one Samsung fridge, maybe two, but not with the crisper drawer that we want.
When all was said and done, we went with a mostly Jenn-Air package. Don't remember the washer and dryer, exactly, but the "cool factor" for Dawn was the microwave that slid open like a drawer as opposed to the typical hinged door. Of course, it was 2.5-3 times the cost of a normal microwave. Anyway, I was jokingly saying it would cost us $8200 as picked out.
I wasn't far off, unfortunately.
We stopped by Lowe's on the way home and snapped some pictures of Samsung appliances and will compare prices.
