Hardwoods started, more stuff to pick out, and Tile Guy #2 gets the job

Rusty shot us a pic of the future kitchen/dining area from Wednesday, and the hardwoods are going down.

We stopped by this evening and snapped a few more.

We finalized the garage door. Like with most things, way too many options. Insulated or non-insulated. What gauge metal? Clear glass or privacy glass? Color? Anyway, it's done.

We also got an idea from Rusty to change the layout of the deck. Basically just moving the stairs, so not a huge change. We're fine with it.

We also got the estimate from Tile Guy #2, and after some consideration, we are going with him. He will hopefully be able to start next week. I still need to get tile for the shower and tub insert, as well as the master bath floor.

This weekend will stink for us. To try and save a little money, Dawn and I are going to paint the basement (minus the bathroom) as opposed to paying the painting crew. Well, we're hoping to get most of it primed this weekend. If I'm not too sore, I'll try and update the blog in a few days.
